This privacy policy applies to the dignify app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Gyeongjun Park (collectively, the "Application"). Gyeongjun Park is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects only the information needed to provide its core features:

• Your email address, provided through Sign in with Apple, used to create and identify your account
• The nickname you set — displayed publicly on your profile and on the picks you post
• Your selected music genres, used to personalize your feed
• Your in-app activity, such as tracks you "hype" (like), used to build your library and personalize your experience
• App usage analytics collected through PostHog (anonymous events such as track views, listens, and "hypes") — used to improve the service and analyze usability. This data is not linked to your account
• The picks you create — the title, the tracks you included, and the time you posted. These are visible to other users of the Application
• The reactions (🔥) you leave on other users' picks — delivered to the author of that pick along with your nickname
• Reports you submit — the pick reported, the reason, and any description you write (up to 200 characters). Used solely for content moderation
• Artist names you request — used to review the request and notify you of the outcome
• A device token for push notifications — collected only if you allow notifications
• A record of the tracks you have played — stored against your account so that tracks you have already seen are not shown again

The Application does not collect your browsing history or precise location, and does not use third-party advertising SDKs. For anonymous usage analytics that help us improve the service, we use PostHog, as described in the "Third-Party Analytics" section below.

Information visible to other users

Your nickname and the picks you create (title, included tracks, and time posted) are visible to all users of the Application. A reaction you leave on another user's pick is shown to the author of that pick together with your nickname. Your email address, selected genres, hyped tracks, and play history are not made public.

The list of users you have blocked is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

As a native mobile app, the Application does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or pixels, and does not track you across other apps or websites. For in-app usage analytics we use an anonymous identifier generated by a third-party analytics tool (PostHog); this identifier is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.
